The graduation ceremony of the Ultimate Netsa Summer Bootcamp, hosted by ETN Learn, marked a pivotal moment in Ethiopia’s digital transformation journey. The bootcamp was a free initiative designed to combat the feelings of hopelessness among Ethiopia’s 12th-grade students, who faced a high failure rate the previous year. Over two months, students engaged in three comprehensive financial literacy courses:
• Forex Trading
• Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology
•Web3.0 and Introduction to The Open Network (TON)
This ceremony celebrated the achievements of the first cohort while unveiling a groundbreaking revelation about the future of Web3 education and blockchain adoption in Ethiopia.
A Partnership with Purpose
In a surprising announcement, it was revealed that the bootcamp was conducted in partnership with Exness Limited, a leading global broker. The event was attended by Mr. Cobe Roscoe, East Africa Regional Head of Sales at Exness, underscoring the significance of the collaboration.
A Hidden Secret: The ETN Ecosystem Soft Launch
What began as a graduation celebration quickly turned into the soft launch of the ETN Ecosystem, a groundbreaking community-driven blockchain and Web3 ecosystem built on the TON blockchain.
The ecosystem, founded by Jason Peters, aims to onboard 30–50 million Ethiopians to the TON blockchain within five years. In a dramatic revelation, Mr. Peters announced that this batch of students, referred to as the Ahadu Batch [“Genesis Block”], had unknowingly been part of the inaugural project of Ethiopia’s first blockchain-based learning platform, ETN Learn.
Awards and Recognitions
The event was filled with excitement, including the distribution of prizes to the top-performing students in the trading module:
First Place: Laptop
Second Place: Tablet
Third Place: Smartphone
All students who completed the bootcamp received certificates of completion and Soul Bound Tokens (SBTs) minted at 0.02 TON weeks earlier. These tokens, adorned with the Ahadu Batch insignia, unlocked lifetime access to all courses on ETN Learn, including premium pay courses, making this an unforgettable gift.
The ETN Ecosystem: Ethiopia’s Gateway to Web3
Jason Peters highlighted the vast scope of the ETN Ecosystem, which includes 13 platforms exclusively utilizing the ETN coin. He emphasized the ecosystem’s role as Ethiopia’s gateway to Web3, marking the next stage of the internet revolution.
Recognition of Partners
The founder extended gratitude to partners who played pivotal roles in building the ecosystem. Certificates of recognition were presented to:
- Ethiopian Blockchain Association
- Endubis Wallet
- Trader Insight
- Zewd Tech.
- IDENTICO.
- CryptoTalk-ET.
- ET Netsa Apps

A Surprise from the Students
In a touching moment, the students presented their instructors with gifts bearing the Ahadu Batch logo and insignia, solidifying their identity as trailblazers in Ethiopia’s Web3 journey.
The Closing and Final Surprise
The event concluded with a dinner ceremony. However, the surprises didn’t end there. A video shared on the official Ahadu Batch Telegram group revealed that the SBTs issued to students were not just commemorative tokens but gates to lifetime access on ETN Learn. Out of the total cohort, 192 badges were minted, symbolizing their place in this historic initiative.
Looking Ahead
The Ultimate Netsa Bootcamp served as more than a graduation; it was a launchpad for a transformative vision. The ETN Ecosystem promises to bring Ethiopia into the Web3 era, empowering millions with financial literacy, blockchain education, and access to the global digital economy.
As the students of the Ahadu Batch proudly step forward, they carry with them the legacy of being the pioneers of a new technological dawn for Ethiopia.
